Contestant – National Carnival Queen Pageant 2007 - 2008

I am Miss Ting, Chevaughn Claxton, a 24 year old gracious and mystical princess from the village of Brown Hill, Nevis. I am a humble, mature and hardworking individual who enjoys sailing, horseback riding, watching a movie with my siblings and surfing the internet.

I have benefited from my education at the Prospect Primary School and the Charlestown Secondary School; however it is my involvement with the first Nevis Brownies Association that has equipped me with the discipline, skills and experience required for the challenges of life.

Currently, I am employed at Global Management & Consultancy Corporation/Hardtman & Associates, as an administrative assistant and I also assist in my family’s business, the renowned Sandy’s Fry Chicken. My ultimate goal is to obtain a degree in Hospitality Management.

Having placed 1st runner up in the 2007 Miss Culture Queen Pageant, I am indeed proud to be a delegate in the 2007 National Carnival Queen Pageant and even more elated to represent my Sponsor, Ting, a product of Carib Brewery St. Kitts Nevis Ltd. ‘It’s gonna be great, National Carnival Queen Pageant 2007-2008.’
