Newfound Donates Regal
Trophy to the Junior Calypso Show
Newfound has donated a Regal Rotational Trophy to the Junior Calypso
Show scheduled to be held on Saturday 23rd December at Carnival
city.
Newfound’s Managing Director, Mr
Owen Pritchard handed over the cheque yesterday (Thursday 30
November) to the Executive
Director of Carnival Mr Allister Williams.
Pritchard said that Newfound’s commitment
to youth and culture in the Federation inspired its agreement
to contribute
significantly to the event and assured the committee that Newfound
will continue to play a role in making this event successful
for years to come.
In accepting Newfound’s donation
Executive Director of Festivals, Mr Allister Williams applauded
Newfound for teaming
with the National Carnival Committee and supporting the youth
of the Federation.
Newfound Developers is the developer of
the 40 Acre Resort Development in Frigate Bay called Ocean’s
Edge which is scheduled to commence construction in February
2007.
