Tiffany Hamilton-Richards

Twenty (20) years ago, on Sunday 15th May 1988, Sigrid Hamilton and Desmond Richards became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. They named her Tiffany Sigrena Hamilton. Today, Tiffany has grown into a sophisticated, gentle and beautiful young lady, with poise, talent and intelligence beyond her years.

Tiffany currently resides at the historical site of Buckley’s Estate where she was born and raised. The elder of two girls, Tiffany attended the prestigious Basseterre High School, were she made history as one of seven students from the Federation who successfully completed the first Physical Education Theory Exam and with distinction. As a student, she excelled in sports and achieved the ultimate; being selected to serve on the female National Football Team. Tiffany is obviously blessed with an abundance of skills and a gifted understanding for she has been a success at everything and anything she undertakes.

Her drive for excellence continued when in her quest for higher education, she enrolled at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College where she embarked upon a demanding and exciting programme (comprising 28 courses) in pursuit of an Associate’s Degree in Office Administration and Business Management.

Tiffany’s possesses a great love for the performing arts. Her abundance of talent has been shining like a beacon.She is a member of the vibrant and professional Okolo Tegramantine Arts Theatre which has granted

her the opportunity to acquire a wealth of knowledge and experience through her frequent travels to countries such as Suriname and St. Croix just to name a few. Most recently, she was part of the Federation’s delegation at the highly acclaimed CARIFESTA X celebrations in Guyana. Moreover, thanks to the Okolo Tegramantine Arts Theatre, Tiffany recognizes the importance of sharing one’s skills, knowledge and gifts with others. As a result, she has been willingly working on a weekly basis with the youth from different communities, demonstrating the wonders of our cultural heritage.

Presently, Tiffany is employed as a Customer Service Representative in the Loans Department of the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis, a position which requires her to utilize her interpersonal and communication skills. She is serious about her quest for further education, and intends to pursue studies that would allow her to embark upon a successful career path in Management and African Dance, a combination which demonstrates her obsession for African culture as well as her keen interest in business operations.

Tiffany is elated about the move towards a Caricom Single Market and Economy (CSME) as she views its success as a wonderful opportunity for the creation of new and exciting jobs throughout the region and a means of uniting our people.

Tiffany sees herself as a role model for the young people of St. Kitts and Nevis and the wider Caribbean region through her example of hard work and achievements.

Evidently, Tiffany Sigrena Hamilton exemplifies the dictum – The difference between the possible and impossible lies within a man’s determination.
